Haiku

Oh, NaNoWriMo! Attention span is fractious. Count is made of fail.

It’s because I have to kill off a character that I’ve grown to really like.  He wasn’t supposed to be an important character in the story, anyway.  He was just supposed to be in one scene and then fade away.  But he’s suddenly the main character’s love interest and the reason why she gets sucked into a murder investigation.  I guess what “they” say is true – occasionally characters do take over the story and you’re helpless to do anything about it!
